ABOUT HDR ARCHITECTURE - ROBERT CESNIK
Robert Cesnik, AIBC, LEED AP BC+C, serves as a Senior Architect and Design Principal at HDR, bringing over fifteen years of experience in residential, commercial, and hospitality design rooted in the Okanagan context. He is particularly recognized for pioneering mass timber projects—most notably the six‑story, cross‑laminated timber West Wing at Penticton Lakeside Resort, one of the largest CLT applications in the region—which underscore both environmental efficiency and cost‑effective, prefabricated construction methods. Through a collaborative and climate-responsive design process, Cesnik consistently delivers solutions that reflect regional identity, sustainability, and technical rigor.
